A detailed environmental study was performed for the environmental permitting of a construction and demolition waste site in Galini Area in Crete. The relevant environmental impacts were examined in detail.
Investigation of the optimum integrated management scheme for municipal solid waste in the Municipality of Delta targeting at waste utilization & preparation of local management plan
A study was performed by ENVIRECO in order to assess the environmental problems related to the management of livestock giving emphasis on dead animals. A management plan was prepared and also a technoeconomic study was performed to handle the problem.
Envireco designed composting systems for decentralized areas and Mesogeios SA, an environmental construction company, constructed a lot of units that were placed in various areas for biowaste management. The knowhow and rights belong to Envireco.
The aim of the projects was to develop a strategic waste management framework tailored to the specific needs and characteristics of the Municipality under investigation that ensured sustainable and environmentally sound management of municipal solid waste.
